Helluva Boss

What it’s about

Blitzø, an imp in Hell, runs an assassin business that kills humans on Earth, using a spell book borrowed from a prince of the underworld. His employees—Moxxie, Millie, and Loona—help keep the business afloat while dealing with each other's quirks.

What hooks you

Brandon Rogers voices Blitzø, with Richard Steven Horvitz as Moxxie. Created by Vivienne Medrano, who also writes and produces, the series began as a spin-off from her 'Hazbin Hotel', where the duo were first conceived as recurring comic characters. Bryce Pinkham voices Stolas, a character based on a demon from the Ars Goetia, whose sigil appears in his mansion.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who like adult animation that mixes dark humor with workplace comedy set in Hell. It will appeal to viewers who enjoy irreverent takes on the afterlife and characters who are both flawed and funny.
