In the 1990s, an accident happened to a child who tried to imitate Beavis (more precisely, his attraction to fire), and the studio banned any mentions of fire and Beavis's fondness for it in the classic series. In this series, however, all restrictions were lifted, and Beavis's fondness for fire is practically advertised. As for the accident involving a three-year-old child and an infant, the blame lies more with their parents, who left the children unattended in a trailer while they went to the neighbors to smoke weed.
