What it’s about

Prince Csongor has wandered the world seeking happiness and returned empty-handed. In his own garden, under a golden apple tree, he meets the fairy Tünde and realizes she is what he has always sought. But the witch Mirigy separates them. To find his beloved, Csongor sets out for the fairy kingdom. Along the way he faces trials, magical beings, and three imps with enchanted objects. His loyal friend Balga accompanies him, joking through the darkest moments. Tünde, for her part, is willing to sacrifice her immortality for love.

Directed by Csaba Mali and Zsolt Pálfi, with a screenplay by Dávid Speier and Krisztián Balassa, this Hungarian animation features the voices of Czető Roland as Csongor and Angéla Eke as Tünde. The music is composed by Pál Simon Fejér.
