About the film
What it’s about
Reito Naoi is fired without cause and, in a desperate act, gets arrested. While waiting in the prosecutor's office, an attorney offers him a deal: he can be released if he obeys a client's order. The client is Chifune Yanagisawa, half-sister of his late mother. Her command is that he become the keeper of the camphor tree at Tsukigo Shrine. Reito takes the role and meets various visitors who come to the shrine for their own reasons.
