Kenichi Yamada, a 35-year-old businessman, has spent his adult life playing every MMORPG. Tired of repetitive gameplay, he is drawn to a new game that promises endless content and a "Hell Mode"—a difficulty that makes leveling nearly impossible but offers uncapped growth. After selecting the Summoner class, he is reborn as Allen, an infant in a serf family, with only his memories and wits to guide him. To escape, he must complete the game alive, but first he has to survive as a powerless baby in a harsh world.
