He soon learns she is completely blind. Yet she attends classes daily, joins clubs, makes friends, and dreams of setting off fireworks one day. Her optimism makes him question why someone who cannot see the flashes would want them. As they grow closer through shared moments and loneliness, he searches for a way to make her wish come true.
