Coco has always longed to be a witch, but in her world magic is reserved for those born to it, and ordinary people must never witness it being cast. While doing her chores, she daydreams of that life. When a young witch named Qifrey visits her village, Coco uncovers the absolute secret: magic is not an innate gift but a skill of drawing magical signs. Her innocent curiosity leads to tragedy, and she must become Qifrey's apprentice to set things right. In his atelier, she begins to learn the delicate art of spell-drawing, but the magical community holds dark corners.
