Kris, an indie filmmaker obsessed since childhood with the Camp Miasma franchise, is hired to direct a reboot. Seeking authenticity, she tracks down Billy Presley, the actress who played the original’s final girl and then vanished from public life. Their meeting takes place at the abandoned camp where the first film was shot, and it quickly becomes a dangerous, increasingly strange journey where the boundary between cinema, desire, and reality begins to dissolve.
