What it’s about

Feng Xia, an immigrant from China, has built a life in Montreal with her husband and children. When a family crisis erupts, she can no longer ignore a truth she has suppressed since adolescence: she is attracted to women. Through a dating site, she meets Camille, a Québécoise in her thirties, and the two begin a secret affair. Feng Xia is torn between her responsibilities to her family and her passionate connection with Camille, caught between the expectations of her culture and her own longing.
