What it’s about
American expat Michael Pearson has built a lucrative marijuana business in London. When he decides to cash out and retire, word spreads through the underworld. Rival operators, a scheming journalist, and assorted criminals see a chance to take over his domain. His right-hand man Ray must fend off plots and betrayals while Pearson tries to close a deal. The situation escalates into bribery, blackmail, and violence as everyone scrambles for a piece of the empire.

- When Michael returns to the pub, outside the viewer sees a van with the inscription Gritchie Brewery. The brewing company with that name is owned by the film's director, Guy Ritchie.
- At the beginning of the film, Rosalind Pearson (Michelle Dockery) enters the garage in red-soled shoes, but in the office it is visible that her shoes have light-colored soles.
- When Ray runs into the alleyway chasing the guy with the phone, he pulls a submachine gun from under his coat. After the phone is obtained, he lets go of the submachine gun, and the barrel (suppressor) of the gun is visible from under his coat. Although in all the previous frames of the chase it is visible that Ray has nothing under his coat.
- Hugh Grant and Charlie Hunnam filmed their scenes over the course of 5 days, and during that time delivered more than 40 pages of dialogue.
