Mermaid

What it’s about

Doug Nelson is recently fired, debt-ridden, and addicted to Percocet when he discovers a wounded mermaid on the coast. He hides her in his crumbling house and nurses her back to health, but his care quickly becomes a one-sided, drug-infused relationship that deepens his decline. When ruthless businessmen find out about the creature, Doug is prepared to go to any lengths to keep her safe.
