What it’s about

John Alexander runs a cattle ranch in Montana. He is land-rich but short of cash, so he reluctantly accepts an offer from a production company to use his land as a film location. The money could save his ranch, but he does not trust the Hollywood crew to treat the land with respect. Fabian, the film's director, is a creative urbanite with his own vision for the movie and hopes it will make him the next 'it' filmmaker. Alexander holds to a traditional way of life, and the arrangement puts that way of life under pressure.
