What it’s about

The Roussier family's life is shaped by Bertille, a 13-year-old with Phelan-McDermid syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that could end her life at any moment. Her parents and 17-year-old sister Marion have adjusted to an exhausting rhythm where Bertille is the centre of everything. During a summer on the French Riviera, Marion, drawn to an older boy, finds herself torn between her love for her sister and her own need for independence.
