What it’s about
Koji Usami drives a taxi in Tokyo. One day he is hired to take Sumire Takano, 85, from Shibamata to a senior care facility in Hayama. She asks him to make several stops, and the trip becomes a slow unfolding of her past.

Yoji Yamada directs Chieko Baisho as Sumire and Takuya Kimura as Koji. The cast also includes Lee Jun-young, Yu Aoi, Takaya Sakoda, and Yûka. This film is a remake of an earlier work.
