What it’s about

Police take in an unemployed man named Suzuki after he breaks a vending machine. During questioning, he predicts two bombings and says more are coming, so detectives treat him as a terrorist suspect. Suzuki first claims psychic clairvoyance, then says he was hypnotized to forget. He gives riddles about the bombs while provoking his interrogators, especially senior detective Kiyomiya and his junior Ruike. The case seems connected to Hasebe, a disgraced cop who killed himself after a scandal years earlier. The central question is whether Suzuki is the bomber or not.
