Stories from the set

As with the web series and TV series, a significant portion of the conversations and audience interaction segments were found in a huge amount of footage (including unused clips from the web series).

The passerby who mentions Jay by name was not a plant. He was a real passerby. Director, writer, and actor Matt Johnson spent at least half an hour talking to him before the passerby finally said Jay's name.

Matt's torn pants actually belonged to Matt Johnson. Since 2010, he has never parted with them, considering them something of a talisman. All this time, Matt has never washed them. In many scenes, Matt is shown wearing exactly the same pants, torn in the same places as the original. They were provided to Matt by the costume designer.

In order for the film to be shown, Matt Johnson and Jay McCarroll deliberately refrained from mentioning events from the web series and the television series.
