About the film
What it’s about
O is a photographer in her late twenties, torn between the financial demands of her work and her desire to create an avant-garde book of original images. Her boyfriend Rene encourages her to set aside money worries and devote herself to the project. He introduces her to Sir Stephen, a wealthy and influential benefactor who offers to support her artistic ambitions. The arrangement initially seems promising, but O is soon drawn into a seductive world of power and eroticism that begins to corrupt her vision and lead her toward self-destruction.
