What it’s about

Evy cares for her severely ill mother, who does not regain consciousness. Her only outlet is the paranormal podcast she hosts with her friend Justin. One day Justin receives ten audio files from an unknown sender, recordings of a young couple. The more they listen, the more Evy notices strange things in her own house.

What hooks you

Ian Tuason writes and directs, with Nina Kiri as Evy and Kristen Holden-Ried as Justin. A24 acquired the film after its festival premiere and replaced the voice actors for Justin and the doctor. The original version featured Chris Holden-Ried voicing Justin and Brian Quintero as the doctor.
