What it’s about

Mario witnesses his older brother David being kidnapped. Nineteen days later David returns with no memory and strange behaviour. Mario suspects the returnee is not really his brother. His investigation leads him to a connection with an unsolved murder that shook the city years ago, and he realises no one can be trusted.

What hooks you

Jaime Lorente plays Mario, and Belén Rueda appears as Clara. The film is directed by Jacob Santana and written by Frank Ariza. Its premise of a possible impostor and a forgotten crime gives the mystery an unsettling edge.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who like detective stories where identity is uncertain and every answer opens a new question. It will also suit viewers who enjoy thrillers built on family bonds and the fear that someone close may not be who they seem.
