Till Sun Rises

What it’s about

Peder and Hanna were once a couple, but life moved on and each is now happily married to someone else. When they meet again by chance, the old attraction is still there, yet neither wants to cheat or wreck their marriages. They come across an antique book about dreams that lets them enter a shared dream world. There, they can live together in a life where anything is possible, while their ordinary days continue as before. The trouble begins when the dream life and waking life start to bleed into each other, and telling which is which gets harder.

What hooks you

Peter Dalle directs and appears as Fredrik, with Mikael Persbrandt as Peder and Vanna Rosenberg as Hanna. The premise of a lucid dream affair gives the comedy-drama an unusual twist, and the cast’s timing keeps the tone light even as the situation grows tangled.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who like relationship comedies with a touch of the surreal. It will also suit viewers who enjoy stories about second chances and the risks of getting what you wish for.
