About the film

What it’s about

Vika is the only person who notices Radmir, the shopping centre owner's son who disappeared a year ago, trapped inside a mannequin. She uses a magic mask to bring him back, but no one else can see or hear him, and he himself doubts the magic is real. The two spend nights together in the empty shopping centre, getting to know each other as Vika tries to convince him of the truth. They join forces to dispel the ancient spell, but the task turns out to be far from simple.

What hooks you

Anastasia Panova and Denis Nikitin play the central pair in a story that blends fantasy with the mood of a melodrama. The setting carries a distinct Bashkir flavour, and the film runs a compact 77 minutes.

Who it’s for

It suits viewers who enjoy gentle romantic fantasy built on a single magical idea, and those who like stories where an impossible situation forces two people together.
