About the film

They unleashed their deadliest weapon on us.

What it’s about

When a military experiment goes wrong, a group of merciless super soldiers escapes from a secret laboratory in a remote desert area. They destroy everything in their path and eventually attack the home of Celeste, a single mother. She must draw on her past as an Army sniper to protect her young daughter from the relentless killers.

What hooks you

Director Adam Wingard, known for spectacle-driven creature features, stages a survival horror that mixes military action with slasher intensity. Adria Arjona plays Celeste, and Dan Stevens appears as Hans Kammler, one of the escaped soldiers. The cast also includes Michael Biehn and Reginald VelJohnson.

Who it’s for

It suits viewers who like fast, brutal action where a capable protagonist is pushed to her limits, and who enjoy horror that blends a home-invasion setup with science fiction. Those drawn to stories of parental protection under extreme threat will find a tense, bloody ride.
