Autumn 1943, eight months after Stalingrad, and German forces are in retreat. The commander of a Tiger tank crew receives orders to return to abandoned territory and extract a colonel hiding in a bunker with secret documents. The five-man crew must cross lethal no-man's land, facing not only the enemy but their own fears and inner demons.
