What it’s about

Hugo, 19, spends every summer at his family’s small house on an Atlantic island. This year he arrives changed—slimmer and more muscular—and with Queen, a beautician whose talkative manner and long glittery nails contrast with his own shyness. The couple soon becomes the focus of everyone’s attention.

Who it’s for

It is worth a look for anyone who enjoys character-driven drama about the friction between old friendships and new identities, and the quiet tensions that surface when a familiar place meets an unfamiliar person.
