About the film

New neighbors, new problems!

What it’s about

Two years after moving to the countryside, Adélaïde and Simon have found peace but also boredom. The arrival of Bernard's son Stan and his wife Bennie seems like a chance for friendship, especially since they have children of similar ages. However, Stan and Bennie are passionate about hunting on horseback with hounds, and they plan to buy up land and transform the forest into a playground for the ultra-rich. The conflict escalates into a full-blown war, forcing Adélaïde and Simon to rally the villagers and Bernard's old hunting buddies to defend their corner of the world.

What hooks you

Directed by Frédéric Forestier and Antonin Fourlon, the film features Didier Bourdon as Bernard, Camille Lou as Adélaïde, and Hakim Jemili as Simon. It is the second part of the 'Chasse gardée' saga, blending social satire with rural comedy.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who enjoy French comedies that mix family tensions with absurd situations, and for viewers who like stories about everyday people standing up to wealthy outsiders.
