Paws in the City

What it’s about

Issa's career in social media collapses after an incident on her watch ruins a young starlet's reputation, leaving her unemployable in Manhattan. Desperate, she accepts the only job available: looking after Camila, a demanding dachshund with a glossy coat. As she shuttles the dog between playdates and pet psychics, Issa discovers that Camila's bark is worse than her bite—and that the dog's attractive but reclusive owner, Theo, is much the same. The job, taken to keep a roof over her head and her 14-year-old sister's, becomes a chance to prove her skills and reunite her family.
