About the film

Think big. Dream bigger.

What it’s about

Raylene 'Red' Delaney leaves her real-estate job to become a Dolly Parton impersonator. Her new life brings a romantic involvement with a Kenny Rogers impersonator, along with the complications of fake hair and artificial breasts.

What hooks you

Krew Boylan stars as Red, with Daniel Webber as Kenny and Rose Byrne as EP. The film's tagline 'xx Dolly' hints at a playful take on identity and ambition.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who enjoy character-driven comedies about reinvention, the clash between public persona and private self, and the allure of country-music glamour.
