Stories from the set

Filming took place in Moscow and Turkey. The main filming in Turkey took place in the city of Anamur — a port city not far from Alanya. A key location was Mamure Castle — a real historical monument from the Roman era, later used by the Ottomans as a caravanserai. The sea scenes were also filmed in Anamur. One of the main discoveries of the Turkish block was the frigate Shtandart

Almost all the stunts in the Turkish block were performed by the actors themselves.

During filming, a field sewing production was set up under the walls of the fortress, operating without stopping.
