About the film
Look fear in the face.
What it’s about
Matt Hagen climbs from Gotham's streets to Hollywood stardom until a crime boss leaves him hideously scarred. Cast aside by his own team, he agrees to a radical treatment. It restores his looks, but his body becomes malleable as clay, and the experiment's unexpected effects strip away his identity and humanity.
What hooks you
James Watkins directs, with Eddie Marsan, Naomi Ackie as Caitlyn Corr, and Max Minghella as John. The film blends body horror and shapeshifting inside the DC Universe, built on tragedy and vengeance.
Who it’s for
It suits viewers who enjoy horror that warps the flesh into something alien, and thrillers where a broken man's need for payback consumes his sense of self. It also suits those drawn to comic-book tragedy and science fiction about experiments with unforeseen costs.
