Mother's Pride

What it’s about

Cal and Abi inherit their late mother's struggling pub. They clash over every decision, unable to mourn or save the business. Then they find her old recipe for a distinctive ale she once brewed for close friends. They decide to revive it, spending their last money on ingredients and new equipment. But making good beer isn't enough; they need recognition. Their only chance is to enter the Great British Beer Awards, where the best brews in the country compete.

Jonno Davies and Martin Clunes lead the cast, with James Buckley, Mark Addy, Gabriella Wilde and Miles Jupp also appearing. Nick Moorcroft directs from a script by Meg Leonard.
