About the film

What it’s about

Nicole and Sebastian are still shattered by their daughter’s death. When Sebastian’s father dies, they unexpectedly inherit a sugarcane farm in Venezuela. Sebastian wants to sell it quickly and get back to their life in the United States, but Nicole cannot move on. Their plans are upended when they discover a cult has occupied the land. Nicole learns the cult uses rituals to speak with the dead, and she becomes obsessed with contacting her daughter again.
