What it’s about

Ustara rules his corner of the Mumbai underworld through violence and lust. When a powerful rival, Jalal, murders the husband of Afsha, she refuses to stay a victim. She enters the criminal world herself, seeking the man who destroyed her life. Her path crosses Ustara's, and they form an uneasy alliance built on a shared enemy. What begins as cold calculation grows into a dangerous attraction, turning them into a modern-day Romeo and Juliet of the crime world as they plot to bring down Jalal.

Vishal Bhardwaj directs Shahid Kapoor as Ustara and Triptii Dimri as Afsha. The film is based on real events from the lives of gangsters Sapna Didi and Hussain Ustara, and Bhardwaj also composes the score.
