Adventures of the Yellow Suitcase

What it’s about

Petya is a modern boy who hides at home, afraid of other children and the outside world. Toma carries her own sadness. Their parents turn to a Wonderful Doctor whose yellow suitcase holds cures for colds, flu, sadness, loneliness, cowardice and timidity. But the suitcase is stolen, and Petya and Toma must help the Doctor find it. What begins as a search becomes a series of adventures that push both children beyond their fears.

What hooks you

Pavel Priluchnyy plays Artur, with Oleg Komarov as the Doctor, Lyudmila Artemeva as Toma's grandmother, and Lyubava Dolinski as Toma. The film is based on a story by Sofya Prokofyeva and was shot in Moscow in May and June 2025. Its premise turns emotional troubles into something a magical cure can treat, then takes that cure away.
