What it’s about

Ally Braun, adopted a decade ago by biotech millionaires, lives in a designer Malibu mansion. On her 16th birthday, she is isolated and friendless, suffering from a serious autoimmune condition. Sneaking out to the beach, she meets Brooke Amandine, and the two become close. As their friendship deepens, Brooke grows suspicious that Ally's parents are concealing something.
