facts
-
The battle scenes between the protagonist and the robots used stop-motion animation. The robot figures were made by specialists from Phil Tippett's company (he is a director, producer, and visual effects supervisor; he specializes in the design of various creatures, as well as stop-motion and computer animation). This same studio was responsible for the stop-motion animation in the films of the original "Star Wars" trilogy.
-
Jeremy Allen White never even appeared on the set. He pre-recorded his character's lines, and at the right moment they were played back to the other members of the production crew.
