What it’s about

In 11th-century Karelia, a feud between Kalervo and Untamo ends in a massacre. The sole survivor is Kalervo's son, Kullervo, whom Untamo raises as his own. As he grows, Kullervo's immense strength and rebellious nature make him feared. When he learns the truth about his past, his path becomes clear: revenge. His journey takes him across a harsh land and into slavery, where he meets the last of his parents' warrior clan and uncovers a devastating secret.
