What it’s about

Hae-ran, an undocumented immigrant, needs money for her sick sister's surgery. She turns to loan sharks, which leads her to Tae-soo, a moneylender who becomes her accomplice. Together they kidnap So-jin, the daughter of a wealthy company owner, and demand a hefty ransom. The plan works at first, but when So-jin wakes up confined in an unfamiliar place, she recognizes Hae-ran as her half-sister. So-jin then overpowers Hae-ran and seizes her gun, creating a precarious alliance against Tae-soo. Hae-ran is caught between Tae-soo and So-jin, needing to secure the surgery money while keeping So-jin safe.

What hooks you

Jung Zi-so plays Hae-ran, with Lee Soo-hyeok as Tae-soo and Cha Joo-yeong as So-jin. The film is a remake based on a previous movie.
