About the film
What it’s about
In November 1941, as the blockade ring closes around Leningrad, a group of young iceboat athletes heads onto thin, not yet formed ice. Their mission to deliver ammunition becomes an operation to save orphans from an orphanage who were not evacuated in time. Former rivals in regatta sports must now become a united team to survive and give hope to everyone else.
