At home, life is demanding: his young son Sam has type 1 diabetes and resents his parents' constant attention to his health. When the band lands a major tour, Bart worries about leaving Sam behind. He proposes taking Sam on the road, and his wife Shannon and the band's manager agree. The tour also includes Tim Timmons, a solo artist, as the opening act.
