Poppy, a writer from New York, and her longtime friend Alex spent nine summers vacationing together until a falling-out ended the tradition. Two years later, Poppy reaches out, and they meet in Barcelona. As they revisit old haunts and shared memories, they confront the hurt that drove them apart and question whether their bond could become romantic.
