Abbey Lee Kershaw is an Australian supermodel and actress[1]. After several successful years, including the 2011 fashion season, V magazine named Kershaw a supermodel.

According to Kershaw's recollections, as a child she "was constantly in the hospital." When she was four years old, Abbey had meningitis and had to undergo two lumbar punctures. She also had a tumor on her knee and several fractures from constantly climbing trees. Kershaw "grew up among 42 nationalities," explaining in an interview that her school, which had 150 children, was very multicultural. Later, Abbey Lee won the prestigious Australian Girlfriend Model Search 2004 competition. After finishing school in 2005, she moved from Melbourne to Sydney, where she began her modeling career. Kershaw lived 100 meters from the beach, and it was there that she was spotted by Kathy Ward, who had previously discovered models such as Miranda Kerr and Samantha Harris. Abbey Lee signed with Chic Management within a week.
