Abeer Sabry is an Egyptian actress. She was born in 1971 in Cairo and studied law at Ain Shams University. She began her artistic career as a show host, until director Ali Abdel Khalek selected her for a role in the film "Those Who Escaped from the Fire" with Amr Abdel Gelil and Tarek Lotfy in 1994. Her second collaboration with the same director was in the film "Women's Threshold" together with Nabila Ebeid and Farouk Al Fishawy.

After that she appeared in numerous films before taking a temporary break after wearing the Islamic headscarf. While wearing the headscarf, she worked as a host of religious programs, but then returned to acting in 2010 to appear in films such as "Feelings," "Light of My Eyes" and "Birds of the Nile."
