Born in Paris, Alex Noyer is a French-Finnish screenwriter, director, and producer. He produced, among other acclaimed works, the documentary 808, the first documentary released on Apple Music. His directing work in genre cinema began with his award-winning short film Conductor, which led to his feature directorial debut Sound of Violence.

Noyer uses his long experience in music, documentary, and art to create genre-shifting stories that change paradigms and tropes, such as how music is used in horror to heighten familiar situations to their worst possible outcomes.
