Alex Zahara is a Canadian actor and voice actor. Alex was born in Northern Alberta and, according to his mother, always loved performing for others. He grew up loving the classics of acting — Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney and others. While still in school he became interested in theater, appearing in a stage version of M*A*S*H.

He traveled around Europe for a while and, lying on a beach in Greece, decided to go to film school. He later taught a class, Acting for Teens, at the Vancouver Film School. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia.
