Amir Bar-Lev (born 1972) is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter from Berkeley, California.

Bar-Lev is known for his work in directing documentary films. He directed such films as "Fighter," a documentary released on August 24, 2001. The film won a special jury prize at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2000. The 2007 documentary "My Kid Could Paint That" was directed by Bar-Lev and shown at the Sundance Film Festival. The film was bought by Sony Pictures Classics in 2007. He also served as co-producer of the 2009 documentary "Troubled Water," which was nominated for an Oscar. Bar-Lev also directed "The Tillman Story," which was shown as a finalist in the national documentary competition at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010.
