Biography

Born on April 18, 1949 in São Paulo (Brazil).

Brazilian actor, producer, screenwriter.

He studied at a college in Rio Branco. After the disbandment of a group of young actors at the college, he received an award as best actor at the IV amateur theater festival. He began appearing on television in 1972, and in films in 1985. In 1976 he signed a contract with the company "Globo" to take part in a classic telenovela.

Antônio Fagundes was always more inclined to play villainous roles. According to the actor, they are always more attractive, more interesting and more vivid. In addition, they attract more attention from the viewer.
