Arun Sagar is an Indian film actor, art director and comedian, working predominantly in the Kannada film industry. He gained recognition as a leading art director throughout his career, starting with his first film, Bhoomi Geetha, which won the National Award for Best Environmental Film. He worked with such experienced directors as Puri Jagannadh, Meher Ramesh, Veerashankar and K. Raghavendra Rao. He won the Karnataka State Award for Best Art Direction for his contribution to the film Sri Manjunatha. He hosted a show on Kasturi TV called Tharrle, reminiscent of the popular program M.A.D. on Pogo TV, which taught children art, painting and crafts.

He became popular during the broadcast of Maja with Sruja, which aired on Asianet Suvarna, where he performed various comic roles, parodying celebrities and politicians. The show was a huge success thanks to its satirical-comedic structure. Later, Arun Sagar was invited as the first contestant of the first season of Bigg Boss Kannada, where he became a finalist of the season. Later he returned to comedy with a new show, Comedy Circle, which aired on ETV Kannada. The show was successful, but for unknown reasons he left it after several episodes.
