Boyapati Srinu is an Indian director and screenwriter working predominantly in Telugu cinema. He began as a photographer and freelance reporter for the newspaper Eenadu in Guntur, then came to cinema as an assistant to Muthyala Subbaiah, and later moved into directing. Boyapati made his directorial debut with Bhadra (2005), followed by films such as Tulasi (2007), Simha (2010), Legend (2014), Sarrainodu (2016) and Akhanda (2021).

Boyapati's films are known for loud, over-the-top masala dramas built around family sentiment, honour and gravity-defying action.
