Bruce was born and raised in the gritty dirt of Chelsea, New York. After graduating from the original High School of Performing Arts and Carnegie Mellon University, he has been an actor, writer and director in film, television and theater. Bruce is a co-founder of FBC Films, which aims to create horror and science fiction with Asian and Black actors and crew.

Their short film "Memorable Minorities - No to Yesterday" was part of the 2016 Boston Science Fiction Festival. Through FBC he also produced, directed, wrote and acted in the web series The Battle Below and the upcoming Legacy Breed. Bruce is a graduate of the original High School of Performing Arts in New York and Carnegie Mellon University.
