Camille Cottin is a French actress. Before starting her career, she studied in London for five years, then returned to France with flawless English, which allowed her to teach in high school for a while; she also took acting classes.

She worked on stage for almost 15 years, alternating between classical and boulevard productions. She got small roles in TV series, and in 2009 she joined the theater workshop La Troupe à Palmade. In 2013 she spent a season in the series Pep's, and then became known to the general public thanks to the series Connasse. The following year she joined the cast of the comedy Les Gazelles and got the lead role in the film Connasse, Princesse des cœurs, a feature film based on the series of the same name and shot entirely with a hidden camera. This film earned her a nomination at the 41st César Awards.

In 2015 she achieved great success with critics and audiences, getting one of the lead roles in the series Dix pour cent, created by Fanny Herrero. She continued her rise in France, combining lead roles (Iris and "Lilac and Hot Chocolate" in 2016; "Like Mother, Like Daughter" in 2017) and supporting roles (Les Fauves in 2018; "The Mystery of Henri Pick" and "Two of Us" in 2019). In 2020 she broke onto the international scene, getting her first major role in an English-language project — the third season of Killing Eve, then in the biopic House of Gucci alongside Lady Gaga, and in 2021 in the American thriller Stillwater. That same year she participated in the Disney-Pixar film Soul, voicing the character 22.

In 2018 she joined the 50/50 collective, which supports gender equality and diversity in the audiovisual field. She is also among the 70 celebrities who mobilized at the call of the Urgence Homophobie association, and appears in the music video for De l'amour. In 2019 she founded, together with Shirley Coen, the company Malmö — a feminist production company.
